What you’ll be doing

 

As the Analyst in Leveraged Finance, you will become an integral part of the team, working in a pan-Nordic setup to support and manage all parts of the private equity financing value chain, including pitching, deal structuring, arranging, execution and distribution of financial instruments. You will work closely with our local and international private equity clients and with internal stakeholders from e.g. Corporate Finance, High Yield & Loan Syndicate, Debt Capital Markets, Sustainable Finance Advisory and Credit, Rating & ESG Analysis.

 

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Perform industry- and company-specific analysis, including review and assessment of due diligence material and financial modelling
  • Prepare presentation materials, including investment memoranda, management presentations and pitch books
  • Assist with origination of new transaction opportunities as well as servicing of existing client relationships and financings
  • Support the preparation of recommendations related to new and existing private equity financing transactions 
  • Remain updated on market and product developments, and demonstrate understanding of clients’ commercial and financial considerations to optimally support clients with value-accretive advisory and solutions

 

The role is based in Copenhagen and you will be part of our pan-Nordic team of highly skilled professionals who always walk the extra mile to provide our clients with best possible advice and service.

Your background and skills include:

  • Solid academic record in a relevant field
  • First-rate communication skills in English and Danish (or another Scandinavian language)
  • Strong numerical and financial modelling abilities 
  • Analytical capacity and ability to digest and assess large amounts of information and concisely summarise takeaways

 

You have likely recently completed your studies or are in the final year of your Master’s studies in Finance, Economics or another relevant field, and have a few years of relevant working experience from internships, student positions, and/or junior roles. However, we always welcome applicants possessing strong academic skills with other Master’s degrees, alternative backgrounds and/or with experience from similar roles.
