Payments Strategic Initiatives Lead to Transaction Banking
We are looking for an experienced Payments Strategic Initiatives Lead to drive transformation initiatives across our organization through change management and enterprise epic ownership for the strategic initiatives - Payment Infrastructure and Corporate Payment Offerings.
About our team
Meet the Payments and CM Product Management team. Our team is responsible for the complete product portfolio of Cash Management and Payment solutions offered by Nordea for customers in all segments – both consumers and corporates. We are positioned within Transaction Banking and Service Area Payments and FT but cooperate extensively across business areas, and technology teams throughout the organization.

Main responsibilities in this role:
- Drive enterprise-wide change initiatives and large cross-portfolio epics from discovery through implementation, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable outcomes
- Lead stakeholder management and dependency coordination to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making
- Develop and implement new ways of working to improve efficiency
- Build lean business cases, define epic hypothesis statements, and guide initiatives through enterprise portfolio Kanban systems
- Orchestrate transparent communication and governance structures towards senior management
Who you are

Your background and skills include:
- Business transformation experience with deep expertise in change management and strategic initiative delivery
- Proven experience with SAFe framework, Lean thinking, and agile methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and systems thinking capabilities with experience coordinating across a complex stakeholder landscape
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to create structure in a fast paced environment
- Feels comfortable with the new expectations on AI adoption and the ability to turn those into quantifiable benefits
- Master's degree from a relevant field
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have experience in payments domain
- Hold relevant certifications in SAFe, change management or project management
