About this opportunity

Welcome to the Data risk team in Group operational risk! We are now looking for a new colleague to help Nordea to ensure that the risks associated data are managed and controlled throughout the data lifecycle. 
 
Our team adds value with our constructive challenge and support for our colleagues in the First Line of Defence by building well controlled and designed solutions in a fast-changing and complex environment. As a Risk Expert you will play a valuable role in setting direction and positively influencing the First Line of Defence to manage Data risks.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leverage your knowledge and experience of data risks and controls to constructively challenge and proactively support our colleagues in the First and Second Line of Defence
  • Take part in the development and implementation of data risk methodologies and frameworks
  • Support the development of risk indicators and monitoring of risk mitigation progress
  • Participate in oversight activities over Data risk
  • Communicate and report to senior management on the key data risks and developments

Your experience and background: 

  • Interest in working with operational risk management within the banking or financial services industry
  • Understanding of data management and regulatory expectations with the area
  • You have a track record of successfully delivering projects
  • Superior level of spoken and written English
  • You are flexible, open-minded and have a strong cultural awareness
