We are looking for a full-time senior Android developer to help shape the next generation of mobile bank applications for Nordea’s private and corporate customers. About this opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong Jetpack compose and MVVM design experience. We are passionate about creating great products for our digital platform, if you are as well, then interested in joining us on this journey?
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be a key member in one of our scrum teams
- Design, create and improve Nordea’s Android mobile bank application
- Depending on your interest and skills, you can do contributions to the frontend & backend sides. We are end-to-end team on all platforms
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure best practices in coding and security
- You are expected to take ownership of the code in your service area and ensure quality of the implementation, including test automation
- You will work with planning, design, developing, testing and supporting our digital banking solutions
- Take the customer needs and together with business drive the best solution, where your engineering input is very important to finding right solution
- Participating in our technology communities - dev days, innovation sprints and much more
- Closely collaborate with other developers, test specialists, architects, service designers and business stakeholders
This role is based in Helsinki or Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:
- Several years of experience in Android application development
- Experience on unit and automated UI tests
It would be ideal if you also:
- Able to understand iOS and web frontend (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript), because it helps you to get our platforms aligned
