We are looking for a full time Developer with strong backend software development skills, combined with the ability to understand and implement financial models and calculations for fixed income products.

 

About our team

 

Meet the Market Analytics & Execution team. Our role is to be the technical partners for our Fixed Income Trading and Sales teams. We advise and create technical solutions and advanced hedging capabilities and provide access channels for key figures, prices and advisory tools both internally and externally. Our team is part of the Markets Business Technology unit in LC&I and is made up of extraordinary people that push the boundaries of business with the help of technology. The role is based on the Trading Floor in Copenhagen. Our work and stakeholders need direct and fast interaction so we have 80% of the time attendance in the office.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Hands-on design, code, test, maintain and support event-driven micro-services that implement trade execution, rich integrations, and customer trade automation using backend languages such as Java and C#
  • Collaborate closely with developers and key business stakeholders like traders, quants, sales reps, and customers
  • Own the access channels and technical solutions for our key figure models and continuously improve the customer experience
  • Drive, coordinate and follow-up on the delivery of system integrations from multiple IT teams ensuring timely executionEstablish and document solution architecture with adherence to relevant standards and guidelines

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you have a solid software engineer foundation and have a passion for all areas of technology. You are also comfortable having direct access to business stakeholders and have either knowledge or interest in financial instruments. Finally there is a quantitative aspect to this role so it is important you are comfortable in learning and picking up financial model tasks

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, math or economics and (computational) finance
  • Strong backend development skills in languages such as Java and C#
  • Hands-on experience building fault-tolerant and self-healing systems
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements
  • You are open to working with both backend and frontend when needed

 

It would be ideal if you also possess:

  • Interest or previous experience in financial products, trading and risk management within Rates and Fixed Income
  • Interest or previous experience in Financial Models as a Quant Developer
  • Passion for mathematics
