About this opportunity


Warm welcome to the BIT Platform Analysis Middle Office team.  We add value by providing great people, primarirly working as IT analysts to different execution structures(projects) focused on Banking and Institutional Technologhy (BIT). As a senior IT analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in defining business and IT requirements and aligning our IT solutions/domain to these requirements, applying Nordea standards and frameworks in a mindful way. At the same time we will help you build your competence as an IT analyst in general.


In particular this role will be working in the Finance, Valuation and Control area of Markets with responsibility for creating and driving the decomissioning roadmap of legacy solutions in this space. 

Examples on what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Collaborating with business owners and stakeholders to refine, define and analyse business requirements related to specific projects.
  • Helping define and create the foundation for future strategic setup of our applications. In this case a roadmap for decomissioning.
  • Hands on tasks related to configuration of applications as well as performing source to target data mapping work for data flows.
  • Working closely together with subject matter experts and business users.   
  • Analysing data and enhancing our current data load setup using for instance MS Excel and SQL.
  • Helping define and implement our future operating model within the DevOps framework.
  • Collaborating and learning from our existing business and IT analysts working in the area.
  • Working closely with developers and others to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions.
  • Supporting other parts and capabilities in the area - like testing, operations and infrastructure.

Your experience and background:  

 

  • A relevant university degree (Engineering, data science, mathematics, economics or similar)
  • + 3 years experience working in or with IT development projects close to business stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of architecture and IT solution design as well as experience from decommissioning initiatives.
  • Great communication skills and experience working with diverse teams.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and SQL (Databases) and some coding experience including data analysis.
  • Experience with working in agile ways of working(Agile/SAFe)). 
  • Advantage with experience from the Treasury or Markets business and/or IT domains.
