Senior IT Developer

København S, DK, 2300

Job ID: 26009

If you have experience as a Senior Developer with Salesforce and are passionate about helping to shape a life and pension company with great ambitions, then we would like to hear from you!

At Nordea Pension, we know that our customers' needs are changing, and we have a strong focus on matching them with the pension solutions of the future. We work in an agile environment with a start-up mentality, where we take advantage of the technological opportunities of the time and there is plenty of opportunity to develop and make your mark on something bigger.

So come with your ideas, skills and experiences, and let's make a difference together.

About this opportunity

Welcome to Nordea Pension, which is a new player in the market. Nordea has acquired Topdanmark Life Insurance. We become Nordea's Danish life and pension company and have changed our name to Nordea Pension.

Nordea Pension is building an independent IT department, "Technology", which has been given the task of building a strong set-up to support a modern pension business. As a new player in the market, Nordea Pension has a unique opportunity to establish modern solutions that are suited to a dynamic and growing market.

We are looking for employees who want to be part of the journey and set the direction for IT at Nordea Pension.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of the "Development & Customer platforms", which are responsible for all customer-facing applications in Nordea Pension.

With you team you will be responsible for developing, adapting, and implementing Salesforce-based solutions to meet the specific needs and requirements of the business, including:

  • Collaborate closely with business units and Salesforce Business Analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Actively suggest areas in Salesforce where we can improve/change the functionality, and you will be involved in major incidents and problem management together with Business Connect
  • Together with business development and suppliers, assess the impact of our applications and ensure the good solutions
  • Testing and implementation of applications within the Salesforce platform
  • Manage sandbox environments and deployment
  • Produce technical documentation
  • Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems

Technology is a newly established department, composed of employees from the former Topdanmark Life Insurance as well as newly appointed managers and employees. There is therefore a dynamic mix of start-up mentality combined with well-established processes. We challenge ourselves by questioning the status quo – but we don't have to take a position on everything at once.

You will carry out the work from the heart of Nordea's head office at DR Byen, Grønjordsvej 10, 2300 Copenhagen S. Here there are good opportunities for transport, as we are next door to DR Byen's metro station, and there are public parking spaces in the area.

Of course, we also have the opportunity to work from home (up to 2 days per week), but in the beginning we will appreciate your company in the office, so we get to know each other well and establish a trusting collaboration. This will give you the best conditions for succeeding in your new role.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values we use as benchmarks to become the pension company we want to be – and which we imagine you share with us.

Your experience and background:

  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce in business contexts
  • Experience with Salesforce as a platform, e.g. Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Social Studio and Conga
  • Experience with Apex (incl. Triggers), Lightning development, SOQL and C#/.NET/Java
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for finding solutions, also for complex scenarios when the parties have different positions
  • Self-driven, but also understand the art of compromise as a team player
  • Master English in speaking and in writing – Danish will be an advantage
