About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Finance & Valuation Control Development team. We add value by working with big amounts of data to provide best information for end user. As the IT Developer In Poland, you’ll play a valuable role in agile team by developing Accounting Balance Reporting Engine, assessing solutions, business requirements and propose appropriate way of implementation, testing and releasing application.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and implementing core of Accounting Balance Reporting Engine using Apache Spark and Java
  • Having analytical mindset in order to understand business requirements and propose best IT solutions
  • Testing application: TDD, BDD
  • Reviewing code, pairing program with other developers, suggesting improvements on a regular basis
  • Participating in future CI-CD improvements, following everything as a code approach

 

You’ll join a cross functional development team cooperating closely with Product Owner and business. The role is based in Gdansk.

Your experience and background: 

  • Knowledge and experience in Java, Spring
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark, Docker, Kafka, Oracle DB, SQL would be an advantage
  • Clean Code, SOLID, GoF patterns
  • Familiarity with tools like Bamboo, GIT, Jira
  • Good English, both in writing and speaking
