Do you want to work with communication consulting, media relations, and translate complicated financial material into understandable messages with a dedicated focus on our customers and the society we are part of? We are now looking for an experienced Press and Communications Advisor to strengthen Nordea Denmark's Communications team.

What you'll be doing 

 

  • Identify, plan and execute proactive communication that supports and improves Nordea's reputation and always think across channels.
  • Drive communication projects with a focus on 360° communication.
  • Handle daily press inquiries in a timely and trust-building manner.
  • Build and nurture external relations with the Danish press and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with messaging, interviews, and media training together with our spokespersons.
  • Spar and advise on external communication and the public agenda with Nordea's spokespersons and experts.
  • Ongoing collaboration and sparring with communication colleagues in the other Nordic countries on initiatives.
  • Work with quarterly report communication for Nordea Denmark.

Your background and experience:

  • Hands-on experience with press relations in relation to Danish media.
  • Experience in spotting proactive communication opportunities and executing through press activities, news for the website or posts on social media.
  • Strategically skilled as well as a trained and sharp pen.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with advising spokespersons, management and experts.
  • Knowledge of and experience with social media is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the financial sector, personal finance and macro-economic areas is an advantage.
  • Previous work with external communication and reactive press management in a larger organization is an advantage.
  • We speak and write Danish, but the corporate language is English, so it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both.
