We are looking for a committed, focused and analytical Student Analyst to support the Illiquid Exposures team in Nordea’s Group Treasury.
You will join an experienced yet diverse team, with highly specialised skills in financial markets that is focused on handling market risk mandates, quantitative analyses, alternative investments and the evolving regulatory landscape. About this opportunity
Illiquid Exposures in Group Treasury front office is responsible for Nordea Bank’s investment activities in alternative asset-classes such as Private Equity, Credit and Real Assets Funds. In addition, the team is managing a portfolio of seed investments from funding Nordea Asset Management funds, as well as a portfolio of strategic group holdings.
As a Student Analyst, your main responsibility will be to support the team with the quarterly valuation process of fund holdings, benchmark- and performance analyses on the portfolio, and support the development of new tools. You will also be assisting the due diligence of potential new investments and be involved in the closing processes.

The position is located in Copenhagen.
We estimate ~15-20 working hours per week.
Who you are
We are looking for a candidate who can combine strong analytical skills as well as the ability to take ownership of and drive initiatives.
You have 2-3 years left before finishing your master’s degree in e.g. Economics or Finance, and have achieved top quartile results.
We also believe that you:
- Are strongly result-orientated, hard-working, flexible, and thrive from a rapid pace.
- Have a keen interest in financial markets and investments.
- Are knowledgeable about corporate finance and able to evaluate unlisted debt and equity instruments.
- Take ownership of tasks and drive them from the beginning to the end, and can work independently as well as in teams.
- Have a demonstrated ability to handle large amount of information, documents and/or assets
- Thrive on complexity and are keen to develop a broad bank-wide understanding, as the area of responsibilities spans many areas within risk, regulations and accounting standards.
Personally, you are committed and flexible with a strong drive to deliver results. You’re outgoing, open and good at building positive relationships.
Finally, strong written and verbal skills in English are a requirement.
