We are looking for a Student with strong analytical skills to support with credit rating and other ad hoc tasks in the credit process – A splendid opportunity to get insight into the fundamentals for handling corporate customers in Nordea. Location will be at our Danish headquarters at Grønjordsvej in Copenhagen or Fredriks Plads in Aarhus. Currently we have three students at each location

 

About our team

 

Meet the Credit, Rating & ESG Analysis team. We assess credit risk and identify early warning signals to help prevent unexpected losses across individual customer engagements within traditional corporates, agriculture and real estate. We are part of the Nordic Credit Risk & ESG Analysis organisation, with 320 employees in Group Credit Management - almost 70 of whom are based in Denmark. We take pride in onboarding and supporting new colleagues, and we work together in an open, respectful tone with genuine interest in one another.

Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Assess credit risk for specific corporate customers - initially focusing on Tenant Owned Associations ("Andelsboligforeninger")
  • Deliver high-quality analyses that enable an efficient credit process and strong customer experiences
  • Identify early warning signals and help shape the right credit strategy in collaboration with the value chain
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across the value chain, including relationship managers and decision-makers
  • Contribute to the team’s continuous improvement and development
  • Support with ad hoc tasks related to the credit process

Your background and skills include: 

  • Financial analysis and accounting
  • Danish written and spoken
  • English also important as all guidelines are in English
  • Basic excel skills
