Would you like to join one of our leading Nordic trading areas? We are now looking for two students to join our Securities Finance, Structured & Equity Trading in Nordea Markets Trading and be part of our journey into the future. 

 

The roles are part-time student positions (15-20h/w), and in-person directly on the Trading Floor located at our headquarters in Copenhagen.

 

About our team

 

Welcome to the Securities Finance, Structured & Equity Trading team. We add value by servicing our clients and sales units, manage our risk prudently and ensure all our franchises develop and perform. We are a team of around 50 people in a very diversified business area within Markets Trading. You will work very closely with Managing/Executive Directors across the entire franchise. The role is based in Copenhagen.

What you’ll be doing

 

You will drive and support Securities Finance, Structured Trading, Investment Products Trading, and Equity Cash Trading in data analysis, including cost and profitability analysis.

 

You will be part of representing our business towards internal stakeholders and processes which can entail supporting audits, product review templates, trader mandate updates, product approval processes, and more.

 

You will develop presentations, drive and coordinate smaller project work of various nature and do various analyses and administrative tasks to support the management team.

Your background and skills include:

  • You are studying a Master’s degree within Finance, Economics, Math, Physics, Engineering or a similar field at a leading University
  • It is an advantage if you have advanced skills in Excel and/or are familiar with lighter programming (Python, VBA, SQL)
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with Financial Theory, Financial Products, and understand Markets operations
