We are now looking for a Team Lead for e-Trading Rates Business Analysts to lead a team of subject matter experts responsible for vendor systems and business workflows covering areas such as market access, liquidity aggregation, order routing and execution, algorithmic trading, order management, pricing and e-distribution for the Rates business.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the e-Trading Rates Business Analysts team. We add value to our Fixed Income and Rates franchise by operating our core trading systems, analyzing new business requirements and driving the implementation of new solutions in close collaboration with our Rates trading and sales organizations. As the team lead for e-Trading Rates and Business Analysts, you’ll play a valuable role in managing vendor and trading venue relationships, leading initiatives to support the electronic Rates trading business and continuosly improve our technical and operational setup.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a team of business analysts through coaching, empowerment and focus on personal and professional development.
  • Train and mentor employees, set direction and provide day to day technical and professional help and guidance.
  • Take ownership of managing vendor relationships with focus on efficiently running the Rates platforms, influence roadmaps and leverage product enhancements, as well as continous evaluation of new vendor systems and keeping up with market development.
  • Take active part in managing existing platforms, vendor-based systems and business processes.
  • Work closely with business and other stakeholders to identify and analyze new requirements and drive the implementation. 


You’ll join a team of skilled and ambitious business analysts working in close collaboration with Rates Trading and Sales to build the e-Trading platform for the future. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:  

  • Proven track record of supporting and coaching team members ideally in a leadership position.
  • Ability to work directly with stakeholders from both business and technology – actively bridging the gap between the two areas.
  • Extensive experience with front-to-back trading workflows and system architecture.
  • Experience working with trading vendor systems, e.g. ION, Valantic, Aphelion, Barracuda, Broadway, Celer, D3, Fluet, FlexTrade, Integral, Itiviti, kACE, Murex, RET, SmartTrade, TradePoint, WSS, etc.
  • A Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar
