We are now looking for a Senior Product Specialist in Private Markets to support Nordea Asset Management (“NAM”) fundraising efforts and investor relations services, by acting as the knowledge hub for private markets solutions and product-related matters when it comes to our range of private asset opportunities.

 

Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the center of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. About this opportunity

 

Welcome to our Investor Relations team. We add value by supporting the marketing, fundraising and investors servicing for private markets solutions in close collaboration with the Alternative Investment teams, the NAM sales force spread across 18 local offices and the NAM Responsible Investment team.

 

The Investor Relations team is part of the Institutional & Wholesale Distribution (I&WD) division in NAM, reporting to the Global Head of Marketing and Business Management and is a crucial one for NAM’s strategic foray into the private markets.

 

What you will be doing:

 

You will integrate a motivated and multinational team to coordinate or contribute to a variety of private markets solutions and product support tasks, partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to provide value-add and be relevant to our investors:

 

Private Markets Solutions support:

  • Ensure the adequate production and update of private markets products related documentation and content, with a primary focus on our Private Equity, Private Credit and Infrastructure Fund of Funds solutions across different investor and distributor segments
  • Assist in handling incoming product requests from investors, distribution partners or sales in a timely manner and with attention to details
  • Supporting the strategic development in terms of democratization of private assets as well as tech developments and private markets trends
  • Manage and handle RFPs, DDQs and ODDQs to win new and maintain existing investor relationships
  • Support the investor reporting production and review
  • Ensure sales are continuously updated about our private markets strategies and solutions
  • Prepare market researches and competitor analysis
  • Participate in investor and sales events as product expert and support relevant sales in one-to-one investor meetings when appropriate
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative network with the sales, investment teams and other key stakeholders

 

Investor Relations other related tasks:

  • Undertake other Investor Relations support tasks when required based on the team workload and growth
  • Participate in various projects pertaining to the Investor Relations function

 

The role is based in Luxembourg and might involve occasional travelling.

Your experience and background:

  • Degree in finance, economics or similar;
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a private markets firm, an Alternatives Asset Manager or a Placement Agent;
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French, German or any other major Nordic language is considered as an asset;
  • Studying for or being a CAIA Charterholder or a similar qualification is considered as an additional asset;
  • Eligible to work in the EU.
