We are looking for a Trainee (f/m) to participate to the activities of the Institutional and Wholesale (I&WD) Investment Products Team – Multi-Asset which acts as the knowledge hub for all investment-related matters (markets, products, competition). Your future responsibilities

 

The traineeship we offer is for a period of 6 months, to start no later than July 1st.

 

You’ll join Institutional and Wholesale Distribution Investment Products Team in Luxembourg, where we are the main contact with our investment professionals from Nordea’s Multi Assets Team. We are in charge of promoting our investment solutions by conception of suitable marketing documents, product promotion and support to the dedicated I&WD clients’ sales team, also supporting them as an investment expert in client meetings, conferences, roadshows, conferences, etc.

 

What you´ll be doing

  • Develop and maintain pre-sales marketing documents such as pitch book, clients’ newsletter, monthly update, reporting etc. to best support our Sales force efforts and meet clients’ expectations.
  • Perform the funds and asset classes’ analysis by making quantitative and qualitative comparison against our competitors.
  • Take part in formulating the update of monthly Product Review committee.
  • Assist in handling any incoming direct requests from clients or Sales in a timely fashion and quality (including client reporting).
  • Supporting the value chain on timely delivery and compliance approval of marketing material used by our Portfolio Managers during client events and meetings.

 

You’ll join a multilingual team of 30+ people supporting the sales activities of the I&WD unit. The role is based in Luxembourg.

Your experience and background:

  • Currently studying finance, economics or related studies or graduated no more than 12 months ago.

  • Very good skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge in another language is considered as an additional asset.
  • Genuine interest for investments and asset management.
  • Numerical and analytical skills.
  • You rapidly learn new tasks and have the ability to learn how to use additional software applications.
  • Good team-oriented person to support sales team & company goals.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
