We are looking for an Team lead for SDT Authentication & Signing team. Authentication, Agreement & Authorization (AAA) within Digital Core and Advisory unit delivers identity and access management digital solution for Nordea’s online banking that help millions of Nordea customers to keep their access to the bank and transactions safe.

Main responsibilities in this role: 

  • Leading a team of engineering professional in building authentication & signing solutions.
  • Hands on attitude, working with microservices and micro front-end patterns with a solid toolset like latest Spring Boot version, Java and front-end technologies like Angular.
  • Engaging, coaching and empowering people to achieve agreed deliverables and goals
  • Taking active part of the delivery of needed customer solutions on equal terms with the other members of the execution team
  • Focus on business needs and together with the team finding solutions to solve those needs
  • Ensuring that the team takes full responsibility for delivering working software, all the way from definition to quality assurance and into production

 

 

This role is based in Oulu (Yrttipellontie 6), Finland.

Your background and skills include:

  • Professional experience leading small development teams.
  • Solid Java skills, with minimum of 12 years working experience in that backend development delivering complex systems.
  • Professional experience in delivering and understanding the lifecycle of business software and what it takes to make long lasting solutions
  • Specific expert knowledge in how to deliver software, either from a team optimization or technical perspective
  • Experience delivering in financial or other regulated industry is a definite advantage
  • Knowledge of cryptography and industry standard authentication protocols is a definite advantage
