About this opportunity

 

Nordea Corporate Finance is a leading financial advisor in the Nordic region. We offer advice to our clients in relation to public and private mergers & acquisitions (M&A) as well as initial public offerings and other public equity-related transactions (ECM). Our solid deal experience and track-record coupled with the unmatched financial strength of the bank allows us to offer our clients a unique full-service proposition encompassing both advise and financing. Our pan-Nordic setup currently consists of approximately 100 employees across our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Oslo.

 

As the Analyst, you will from day one become an integral part of the team and get the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting deals in the Nordic region. The setup of our project teams allow for increased accountability, responsibility and visibility. Our organisational structure is uniquely flat, and our team culture supports people eager to learn and take on new challenges.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Involvement in transaction execution and business origination
  • Company valuation and modelling
  • Financial and commercial analysis
  • Creation of marketing materials
  • Interaction with other Nordea teams and external stakeholders

  • Possess strong analytical and modelling skills with attentiveness to detail

Your experience and background should include:  

  • 1-2 years of experience within in corporate finance, transaction services, financial and/or management consulting, private equity, venture capital or equivalent
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Leadership with excellent credentials from a recognised university/business school
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English with excellent spoken and written communication skills
