Would you like to join the leading Corporate Finance team in the Nordics? We are now looking for analyst(s) to join Nordea Corporate Finance, starting fall 2027.

At Nordea, we see that the world is changing fast – and we want to be one step ahead of the curve. That’s why we’re deeply committed to providing the financial solutions of tomorrow to our customers. We’re creating an agile environment where we experiment and grow together – and we need your ideas and unique background. With us, you’ll be in good company with a chance to make your mark on something bigger.

About this opportunity

Nordea’s Corporate Finance team offers advice to our clients in relation to public and private mergers & acquisitions (“M&A”) as well as initial public offerings and other equity capital markets (“ECM”) transactions. Our comprehensive deal experience and track-record coupled with the unmatched financial strength of being the largest Nordic bank allows us to offer our clients a unique full-service proposition encompassing both advisory services and financing. Our pan-Nordic Corporate Finance setup currently consists of approximately ~100 employees across our offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Oslo, with ca. 20 people based in Oslo.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Involvement in the entire deal value chain, from business origination to transaction execution
  • Company valuation and modelling
  • Financial and commercial analysis
  • Creation of marketing materials
  • Meeting with current and prospective external customers and stakeholders
  • Interaction and coordination with other internal Nordea teams

You’ll join a strong and forward-leaning team in the largest Nordic bank that successfully executes M&A and ECM transactions across all sectors and sizes in the Nordics as well as in Norway. The role is based in Oslo, Norway, with travelling to be expected.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Possess excellent analytical and modelling skills with attentiveness to detail
  • Have ability and appetite to take responsibility at an early stage
  • Have a proactive and commercial attitude with a positive and goal oriented mind-set
  • Encompass a strong ‘can do’ attitude with high work capacity

Your experience and background:

  • Graduating with excellent credentials from a recognised university/business school in 2027
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Any experience from investment banking, management consulting or adjacent advisory internships also weighs positively
