We are looking for an ambitious colleague to join our team as a Business Analyst to strengthen our Management Office team in Large Corporates & Institutions Norway. About this opportunity
Welcome to Nordea Large Corporates & Institutions Norway (LC&I Norway). We are around 50 ambitious and highly competent employees working with coverage of the largest companies in Norway with the most complex banking needs. We act as the ultimate responsible decision maker in the bank of all matters concerning our customers, and work closely with product specialists within for example Markets, Investment banking, Debt solutions, Trade finance and Cash management. We add value by creating great customer experiences through our relationship strategy and a deep understanding of our customer’s businesses and the markets in which they operate.
Our Management Office team is responsible of the overall operations within LC&I Norway and the team fronts our organisation in a wide scope of different strategic projects together with other business areas and stakeholders. In your role as the Business Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in contributing towards LC&I Norway being a professional, efficient and compliant organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
You will support and work closely with the Head and the Management Partner of Management Office in managing daily tasks and execute on a wide range of different initiatives such as:
- Participate in producing high quality industry and portfolio analyses from many different angles like for example profitability, risk or compliance. You will also be making ad hoc presentations, analysis and decision-making materials
- Proactively provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis in order to drive data-driven decision making
- Participate, drive, and support in strategic business and/or change projects related to a wide range of areas like operational excellence, credit and banking products, capital and profitability requirements, anti-money laundering and compliance
- Contribute to the development of governance documentation like guidelines, procedures and routines related to serving large corporate customers in Nordea
- Work in close cooperation with Client Executives and Client Associates in LC&I Norway
- Develop an internal network and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in the bank across all four Nordic countries

To succeed in this role, we believe that you need to display:

- Proven analytical skills and a commercial mindset, bringing data into relevant business analysis and presentation material
- Insights and are curious to learn about the corporate banking market and creating the best solutions for the LC&I customers
- Possess the ability to challenge the status quo and contribute in different forums and projects as a speaking partner on behalf of LC&I Norway
- Proactive, structured and systematic ways of working with a positive and goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office tools and/or have strong capabilities to learn efficient use of relevant internal IT systems and tools
- Drive in handling daily tasks and taking initiative to execute these tasks in a professional and efficient manner
- Enjoyment for working with others as well as independently and are a trusted colleague with high work capacity
Your experience:
- Strong academic record with a Master degree within finance, economics or similar
- You are in the early phase of your ambitious career having up to two years of relevant and interesting experience.
- Fluency in both English and Norwegian, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite
- Proficiency in MS Office
