About this opportunity

Welcome to the Consumer Cards team. We add value by enabling seamless everyday payments to Nordea customers. As a local Consumer Cards Business Lead, you’ll play a vital role in developing cards business for Nordea and in driving commercial activities in Norway in order to ensure we have a strong local cards offering that is top of mind with best in market sales development together with high customer and stakeholder satisfaction.   

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and execute on the strategic direction and business plan for Consumer Cards in Norway aligned colleagues in Transaction Banking and Personal Banking.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that consumer cards portfolio in Norway is profitable and supports local and Nordic targets.
  • Act as a key counterpart to our local stakeholders in Norway in Consumer Cards related topics and you collaborate with Nordic counterparts. You will coordinate Consumer Cards value chain in Norway securing that internal collaboration supports Nordea’s priorities.
  • Be part of the Nordic Consumer Cards Business Unit in Transaction Banking and report to the Nordic Head of Consumer Cards.

The role is based in Oslo, in Nordea's HQ at Majorstuen.

Your experience and background: 

  • +7 years of related work experience
  • You have proven senior stakeholder management skills and excellent capabilities in developing business, and value propositions.
  • You have proven skills in presenting and arguing for good proposals both in local and in Nordic settings.
  • You have a relevant academic degree and professional skills in Norwegian and in English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Personal Banking, cards or payments industry a plus but not mandatory.
