Would you like to be part of shaping and delivering on Nordea - Asset & Wealth Management’s (AWM) ambitious 2030 strategy?

 

We are expanding the AWM strategy team (AWM Office) in Oslo and are looking for a commercially minded and highly structured sparring partner to drive and contribute to strategic initiatives from insights to operationalization. In this role, you will gain deep exposure to the business through various initiatives that contribute to Nordea’s success and influence how we deliver growth, efficiency, and quality targets. The position also offers exposure to the AWM leadership team.

 

About our team

 

AWM comprises Private Banking, Nordea Asset Management and Nordea Life & Pension and serves as Nordea’s center of excellence for savings and investments. AWM Office shapes priorities and translates strategy into delivery plans and enables strategic decision-making through evidence-based insights. We also provide high-quality support and advisory to the Business Area Head.

 

What does the job involve? 

 

As a Management Partner, you will help design and execute strategic agendas, structure and solve complex problems and support the AWM leadership team. You will gain insight into how the organization is running and have the opportunity to influence important decisions — while learning and growing with us. Reporting directly to the Head of AWM Office, you will work alongside a high-performing team to drive strategic initiatives. You will join a collaborative, ambitious, and supportive environment that offers a steep learning curve and meaningful opportunities to create an impact.

 

Typical responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses and deliver high-quality decision material for internal & external use 

  • Plan, drive and follow up on strategic processes & reviews together with key stakeholders 

  • Support the effective execution of our ambitious business plans 

  • Act as an advisor and sparring partner for the AWM leadership team

  • Have impeccable communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Are self-driven, flexible and work in a structured, proactive manner 

  • Eagerly adopt new technologies such as AI tools to gain insights and efficiency 

  • Are a strong team player and willing to support wherever needed 

 

Your experience and competencies include:

  • Experience in consultancy, investments, private banking or project work 

  • Experience with management reporting and visualization 

  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language 

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent 

  • Preferred: demonstrated commercial acumen and familiarity with artificial intelligence
