Product Managers to Transaction Banking Payments

Would you like to work with the shaping of the future payment offering in Nordea? We are now looking for (Senior) Business Developers, in the role of Product Manager, to join our Payments team in Transaction Banking Product Management on the exiting journey in establishing the future Nordic payment offering enabled by payment industry changes.

  

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Transaction Banking Product Management team. We add value by ensuring our product portfolio is profitable and relevant for our customers in all segments, in close collaboration with our stakeholders. As the Product Manager, you play a valuable role in defining and maintaining our product roadmaps based on our customers’ expectations and understanding of market and payment industry movements. The Nordic payment landscape is changing by creating new rails for batch and instant payments cross Nordics, and you will be part of this exciting journey.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Co-ordinate and drive, or support, tasks and initiatives that improve and harmonise the customer product offering
  • Support projects and workstreams to ensure they deliver on our business requirements and defined outcomes
  • Ensure product offerings are profitable through managing the P&L, adhering to KPIs and maintaining performance metrics
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders and industry bodies to define the product roadmap including new features and improvements
  • Influence the direction of the product offering and supporting the future strategic direction for Payments in Nordea

 

You will join a Nordic team of professionals passionate about payments. We are responsible for Domestic and SEPA scheme payments, Collection Services and Cross Border payments. The role can be based in either in Oslo or Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:

  • Experience from Bank, consultancy or IT organisation
  • High level of industry and product expertise in payment industry
  • Project management experience
  • Energy and passion for serving our customers
  • A driver mentality, positive and can do attitude
  • Analytical skills and ability to document results
  • Understanding of customer processes and bank interaction
  • Preferably, Master's degree in a related field
