About this opportunity
Welcome to the Personal Banking Countries Compliance team. We are a Nordic team that combines local presence in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm with extensive cooperation via digital channels. Customer protection is a key focus area for us, but we also work with other compliance risks such as governance, market integrity, data privacy and remuneration.
We add value by providing support and challenge to the business through our business understanding, regulatory knowledge and risk management approach. As Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a valuable role as a trusted advisor to the senior management in Personal Banking Norway regarding identification and mitigation of compliance risk to the mutual benefit of Nordea and our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising the business, including the senior management in Personal Banking Norway, on compliance risk identification and mitigation.
- Performing risk assessments of compliance risks in Personal Banking.
- Conducting testing activities by driving projects and by contributing to team deliverables.
- Reporting on compliance risk to the senior management in Personal Banking.
- Providing training to colleagues in Personal Banking and other stakeholders, often via input to e-learning modules.

The role is based in our Norwegian headquarter in Oslo.

Your experience and background:
- Good understanding of the financial services regulation in Norway and EU/EEC
- Fluent in Norwegian and professional, trouble-free communication in English
- Relevant work experience, preferably at least 4 years
- Relevant master degree, e.g. in business administration, economics, law or auditing
