About this opportunity

You’ll join the Nordea Life & Pensions unit, where you will act as a compliance specialist towards the business area. As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be working with a wide variety of tasks within your field. Primarily you will be identifying, minimising and evaluating compliance risks, as well as engaging in dialogue with the business concerning the handling of these. This includes the development and preparation of monitoring and investigations and giving advice.
 

In practise, your tasks will include:

  • Identifying, describing and assessing risks,
  • Participation in the planning of compliance activities,
  • Monitoring of controls and activities,
  • Advice and training of managers and employees on how to handle compliance risks,
  • Follow-up on internal and external regulation,
  • Reporting monitoring results, compliance risks and risk management.

 
The role is based in Oslo, Norway.

Your experience and background:

  • 5+ experience from the insurance- or financial sector working within compliance, risk management or in an audit function,
  • A Master´s Degree in related field,
  • An ability to work fluently, both orally and in writing, in English and Norwegian.
