We are now looking for a Senior Risk Expert / Senior Compliance Officer to Group Compliance (GC) that will get to play a key role in working hands on with multiple key compliance and governance processes.

About this opportunity

Compliance Framework Governance is a team with the purpose of overseeing the overall Compliance Risk Management Framework (CRMF) for Nordea, as well as managing individual risk management processes such as the process for approving new products and services. As the Senior Compliance Officer in the team, you will work closely with your colleagues to coordinate key improvements in Nordea’s governance and compliance risk management. Due to our central position and diverse set of responsibilities, our team offers multiple opportunities to learn, grow and succeed as a compliance professional in the largest financial services organization in the Nordics.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take lead or supporting role in developing compliance risk management processes and support in overall oversight of the framework and its integrity
  • Coordinate key risk management initiatives cutting across the wider organization. These can relate to topics such as internal rules, incident management, risk taxonomy or compliance advice to the business
  • Leverage on your understanding of prudential risks, take lead in coordinating and facilitating various tasks related to the New Product Approval Process

Your experience and background: 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Professional English skills, both spoken and written
