Welcome to the Capability NO Accounts & Payments team. You’ll join Local Systems NO. The team is responsible for maintenance and development of existing core Norwegian solutions mainly based on IBM mainframe technology. In this position you will primary work within our account and payment domain. The ongoing big simplification initiatives require small and more complex changes for the integration between old and new solutions.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Take an active part in defining the requirements and ensure high quality in complex IT projects from start to finish 
  • Build understanding and relationship to our key contact persons in the local system areas, as well as other parts of the organization
  • Contribute to developing and improving our ways of working 
  • Ensure quality and compliance in everything we do

 

We are now looking for a Senior IT Analyst to drive the collaboration between business and IT and other stakeholders in order to define the IT requirements, as well as the functional requirements will be your responsibility. You need strong analytical skills to deliver in complex, highly important IT projects – creating, understanding and communicating the strategic/business and detailed IT requirements. We have two positions open.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • An open mind and are analytical, self-driven, structured, communicative and are able to think outside of the box
  • Experience working in complex IT projects within financial services or other regulated industries
  • Good understanding and experience within core systems in a banking business
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computer science or finance/economics
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills

 

Additional background and/or skillset, that are beneficial in this role:

  • Experience within MF technologies such as Cobol/DB2/CICS/MQ/IMS is desirable
