We continuously strengthen the governance for the PeB Leadership team and strive to create strong coherency between the strategic agenda and the commercial and technology priorities. Our team consists of highly driven professionals united in their passion to make a difference for both our customers and colleagues alike, in a fast-paced environment. We aim to be courageous and explorative in our approach to developing banking services – anytime, anywhere. This means you’ll have countless opportunities to learn and grow as you build your career with us.

You will join us at an exciting time as we progress towards our ambitions in the new strategy period. If you are passionate about making an impact and being a valuable contributor who ensures we deliver on our strategic commitments, this could be the right next step for you.

As the Strategic Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving some of our most important strategic initiatives. The agenda will be ever evolving, to reflect our strategic priorities. You will be interacting with key stakeholders in country organizations and Nordic development units, be exposed to senior management settings, solving complex and interesting problems and much more. You will strengthen our team by driving key initiatives, developing and delivering first-class decision materials underpinned by excellent analysis and stakeholder management.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Drive the development and execution of the Personal Banking strategy, with clear focus on translating strategic priorities into tangible commercial outcomes across customer satisfaction, growth, profitability, and cost discipline
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Head of Personal Banking, shaping priorities through fact-based insights, forward-looking analysis, and robust challenge to support high-quality decision-making
  • Support commercial management and steering across the Nordics, ensuring best practices are scaled across countries and delivering against targets
  • Establish and drive a data- and performance-driven operating rhythm, continuously tracking progress, identifying gaps, and recalibrating actions to ensure delivery on strategic ambitions
  • Design, implement and calibrate cross-functional and cross-country initiatives, ensuring end-to-end execution, clear ownership, and measurable impact on customer value, topline growth, and efficiency
  • Cultivate collaboration with teams across PeB CRUs, PRUs, and other business areas to achieve optimal outcomes for our customers and the Group
  • Act as an ambassador for PeB and build internal and external network to spark innovation, creative problem-solving and execution and contribute to business fora and networks representing Nordea
  • Inspire and energise team members through a positive, high-energy approach, fostering open dialogue by actively sharing knowledge and seeking feedback across the team and with stakeholders to drive personal as well as team development

You will report to the Head of Personal Banking Office. The role is based in Helsinki, Stockholm, or Oslo. In Personal Banking Office, you will be part of a team driven by high ambitions and constant change but with a relentless drive to create impact, both individually and together. No day is the same except for our positive approach, humour, and laughter in the team.
