We are looking for a high-caliber student with two to three years remaining in their studies to join our Securities Finance & Structured Products Sales team as a Student Analyst on a part-time employment agreement.

Meet the Securities Finance & Structured Products Sales team. Our role is to provide leading securities finance and structured products solutions to institutional clients across the Nordic region.

 

Our team operates as part of Nordea Markets, working from Oslo for a pan-Nordic team that serves institutional clients ranging from asset managers to pension funds and other financial institutions. We are the leading securities finance and structured products franchise in the Nordics, working closely with experienced professionals in an integrated, high-performance environment.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Support the Securities Finance and Structured Products Sales team in the daily workflow
  • Take responsibility for tasks related to administration of alternative investment vehicles
  • Create presentations and client materials
  • Build tools to automate manual workflows

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you have commercial insight, a client-focused mindset and can work under pressure to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. You should be motivated by working in a fast-paced financial markets environment and eager to learn from experienced professionals.

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
  • The ideal candidate is starting a master’s degree in 2026 or 2027
  • Excellent academic credentials with strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of literacy in English and a Nordic language

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have some proficiency in programming languages such as Python, VBA or SQL
  • Show interest in institutional client relationship management
