About this opportunity

Welcome to the One Digital’s Mobile Authentication team. We add value by making sure our mobile solutions are safe and easy to use. As the Developer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering brilliant customer experiences with great quality in our most popular customer facing apps: Nordea Mobile and Nordea ID.
 

What you will be doing:

• Take ownership and technical leadership over the software asset
• Drive and handle platform activities & updates to ensure everything stays fresh and top quality
• Actively participate in and drive different studies, investigations and problem solving efforts
• Drive architectural activities in collaboration with the iOS Lead Developer
• Participate in feature design together with the team
• Design, implement and test new features in Nordea’s mobile applications & related services
• Lead an internal mobile developer community by providing feedback in code reviews and technical studies

• Are able to gain a high level overview of the software asset, related tools and processes to be able to solve issues across team and feature boundaries
• Are able to lead & mentor others in the community, making sure common practices are followed
• Finally, you understand the importance of good communication skills while being a member of a high performing team

Your experience and background:

• Several years of Android application development experience with Java and Kotlin
• Previous experience in a leading technical role
• Experience working with/on RESTful SpringBoot services
• Quality mindset, knowledge and appreciation of test automation
• Understanding of software engineering practicalities, build & deployment, and other related tools to effectively lead the work in codebases with large number of contributors
