We are now looking for an Web Developer to Oulu, who understands and can use Angular on a senior level and has interested to use other technologies as well.

About this opportunity

Welcome to One Digital, the biggest banking platform in the Nordics! You will join an awesome group of people from across the world, that delivers solutions to our customers in a never before seen pace, ensuring that Nordea will become the front runner in digital banking services. One Digital owns most mass-distributed front-ends and related API development for Nordea customers. This team is responsible of mobile bank’s landing view.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking role of a senior web developer, who has a capability to teach others use Angular technology
• Mainly working with technologies that you master, but stepping in/up on different technology areas to help the team to deliver on the commitments given (i.e. Java, iOS/Android)
• Acting as a key member in one of our agile teams
• Coding robust, well-tested, clean solutions using latest tools and technology
• Taking the customer needs and together with business drive the best solution, where your engineering input is very important to finding that solution
• Participating in our technology communities - dev days, innovation sprints and peer code reviews etc.

The position is based in Oulu, Finland (Yrttipellontie 6). We follow hybrid model of working.

Additional skills that are beneficial in this role:

• Some knowledge of native mobile (iOS/Android) development
• Some work experience in building RESTful microservices using Java
• Understanding and interacting with a big organization, and technology landscape
