We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AI & Innovation Management Trainee to join our team. This role is central in deploying AI tools within our organization, with a particular focus on knowledge bases, agentic workflows and fine-tuning. The trainee will operate at the intersection of technology and business, assisting teams in the implementation of use cases and being part of the cross-functional AI Lab developing our common tools.

About this opportunity

 

You will join our Innovation team based in Lisbon which is focusing on deploying AI and data oriented technology within the organization. We seek to build a solid framework around AI technologies to simplify our processes, understand better the market, and invent the ways of working of tomorrow. You will have the chance to apply your theoretical and technical knowledge to real-world problems and be part of the deep transformation fuelled by AI.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in the deployment and integration of AI tools, particularly knowledge bases, within the organization.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and implement AI-driven use cases.
  • Participate in our cross-functional AI Lab, contributing to the development of common capabilities such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and fine-tuning.
  • Support the business in leveraging AI tools for innovation and efficiency.
  • Work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure efficient implementation and adoption of AI solutions.

 

The role is based in Oeiras.

Your experience and background:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Master's in Innovation, Computer Science, Maths or other numerate subject.
  • Knowledge of key concepts in AI, Project Management, Business Analysis, Change Management.
  • Prior experience in projects involving curation of large dataset and machine learning algorithm will be considered a plus.
