Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre for investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. About this opportunity

Welcome to our Institutional & Wholesales Fund Reporting team. The team is a part of Nordea Asset Management distribution unit. We seek to provide comprehensive quantitative data to our investors on our products. You will be in contact with our Sales organization, as well as Middle office and product specialists.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing our portfolio of projects and participate to the establishment of the strategic roadmap
• Understanding business needs and translating them in functional specifications
• Be the interface between business users and developers
• Appling Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Maintaining solution documentation and making sure it is up to date
• Liaising with stakeholders across the organization to align delivery schedules and priorities
• Developing your knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry, regulations, fund management and financial derivatives instruments

Work place: Oeiras (Portugal).

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Understand financial concepts/formulas common in the Asset Management industry and translate them in specifications
• Have a solid knowledge of project coordination and business analysis
• Have solid quantitative, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Database normalization, SQL, PowerBI, SSRS or other programming language is considered an asset
• Are accurate and detail oriented, able to explain complex topics in a simple and comprehensive manner

Your experience and background: 

• Master’s degree in engineering, economics, finance or similar
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst (especially in the finance industry)
• Prior professional experience in the fund industry will be considered as an asset
