About this opportunity

Welcome to the Asset Management Compliance team. We add value by proactively advise and support managers and employees to enable sound business, and support management and the board in their oversight. To be as relevant as possible, we strive to understand and develop knowledge of the business, the risks and controls in place to comply with internal and external requirements. As the Compliance Officer, you’ll play a valuable role in delivering fair customer outcomes across the end-to-end customer lifecycle and protect the integrity of the markets where we operate.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying and assessing compliance risks.
  • Provide advice and support, including training, in compliance matters and take responsibility for execution of compliance activities.
  • Maintain and develop the Compliance Risk Managment Framework and the ways of working. 
  • Together with the team take ownership in managing the ongoing responsibilities in the Compliance Function.

 

You’ll join a dedicated team with a high ambition to deliver value adding compliance work to promote an effective management of the compliance risk in 1 LoD, and to support the management and board oversight. The role is based in Lisbon.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • +3 years of relevant experience. 
  • Asset Management experience is preferred and it is seen as positive if you previously have worked with MiFID II and/or UCITS/AIFMD.
  • High sense of integrity, a structured approach and strong analytical thinking also with attention to details. 
  • Well developed spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to build relationships.
