About this opportunity
Welcome to our Institutional & Wholesale Fund Reporting team. The team is part of Nordea Asset Management distribution unit. We seek to provide accurate and comprehensive quantitative data to our investors. The team is a center of expertise in risk & performances calculations, innovation and technology within our distribution unit. You will be in contact with the entire value chain of a multinational European Asset Manager from the Investment to Operations & Trading with the opportunity de deepen your knowledge of the products and the industry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing and managing standard as well as bespoke client reports, ensuring data accuracy and narrative clarity
- You are calculating and vetting data for our top-tier prospects – both mutual funds and bespoke segregated mandates
- Supporting Sales & Client Relationship teams with pre-sales material (Factsheets, Fund Updates, ESG Reports)
- Producing GIPS composite compliant metrics and reports (calculations, attribution, performance metrics) for our composite product range
- Monitoring our recurrent processes such as data feed, risk calculation figures, regulatory reports preparation and dissemination
- Monitoring and participating to the improvement of our data platform
- Reporting on ESG metrics following SFDR and other EU reporting frameworks
- Driving ad-hoc projects (new report implementation, data fetching, calculation improvement etc.)
The role is based in Oeiras.

Your profile may be a good fit if you are/have:
- A solid level of quantitative and analytical skills
- A team player
- Fluent in English. (Other European languages are considered an asset)
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft suite
- Accurate and detail-oriented, able to explain complex topics in a simple and comprehensive manner
- A self-starter and well organized
- Master’s degree in economics, finance or similar
- Familiar with databases and SQL querying
Strong candidates may have:
- Prior professional experience product reporting or asset management roles
- Solid knowledge Bloomberg, DataStream, Reuters/Eikon and SQL; Good command of VBA and other languages are a plus
