About this opportunity

In today’s world, change is the one thing you can count on. But whatever the future brings, our customers remain at the heart of everything we do. That’s where you come in. Working with experienced colleagues in an exciting, forward-thinking environment, you’ll contribute to meet our customers’ changing needs.

We are looking for a motivated and service minded person to join one of the Back-Office teams as the Head of Derivatives Trade Support that shares the same values and culture in the organization.

Back-Office is split in two locations, Copenhagen and Lisbon, with a total of 5 teams with roughly 40 professionals.

We aim to be motivated and explorative in our approach to innovating better ways of delivering banking services – anytime, anywhere. This means you’ll have many opportunities to learn and grow as you build your career with us. Will you play your part in creating great customer experiences?

What you'll be doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Overseeing post-trade activities related to all types of instruments namely FX, Equities, Bonds, Repos, Derivatives, etc.

  • Defining targets and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder management, ensuring a proper communication channel both internally and externally.
  • Management and guidance of the team (defining yearly objectives, career development, recruitments, travel budgeting etc).
  • Escalation contact.
  • Follow up on market updates and regulation.
  • Ensuring operational excellence towards clients, stakeholders and the organization.
  • Ensuring the team creates consistent added value to the rest of the organization.
  • Define and contribute to strategies for growth within Back-Office which are aligned with the ones from the organization.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the four key values that guide us in being at our best. We imagine that you enjoy learning and are motivated to bring your ideas to the table. You're motivated, willing to speak up – even when it's difficult – and involved in empowering others.

To do well in this role, we believe that you:

  • Are proficient in leadership with the ability to oversee, develop and inspire.
  • Have deep interest in the industry and see this as a passion rather than a job.

  • Have resolute mindset and hold clear convictions.
  • Encourage a new approach to collaboration among your colleagues.
  • Show interest and curiosity.
  • Have the interest in developing not only the team, but the BO as a whole.
