Lead International People Services across Nordea Asset Management (NAM)

We're looking for a Head of NAM International People Services to lead and strengthen People Services across Nordea Asset Management's international footprint - spanning Portugal, Luxembourg and our sales offices globally.

You'll lead a talented team across multiple locations, working directly with leaders and employees to build excellent People Services at scale. Together, you'll drive how we build a high-performing, inclusive culture that enables NAM's world-class specialist talent to thrive - across borders, time zones, and the different ways we work.

What you'll do

Build and lead our International People Services team

• Lead 8 talented people across Portugal and Luxembourg, creating a team that's engaged, collaborative and proud of supporting NAM's growth as a leading European asset manager 
• Build capability in AI and automation tools - staying ahead of how we work

Deliver excellent International People Services

• Ensure high-quality, compliant People Services across Portugal, Luxembourg and sales offices -  from recruitment and onboarding to employee lifecycle and data management
• Lead the implementation of new HR system modules and explore AI solutions to reduce manual work and improve insights
• Drive alignment with Nordea Group standards while protecting what makes NAM special - our specialist culture and relationship focus

Lead People and culture in Portugal

• Be the main People contact for Portuguese leaders and employees building engagement, fostering NAM culture, and ensuring strong local People support
• Together with NAM Head of People develop a talent strategy and EVP for Portugal that attracts and retains the specialist talent we need as we expand
• Ensure we navigate Portuguese labour law and regulatory requirements seamlessly

Be part of the Nordic NAM People team

• Work closely with NAM's Nordic People team to translate our People priorities into solutions that work across international operations

About you

You're a people-centred, delivery-oriented leader who thrives in low hierarchy, modern, tech-enabled environments. You understand that the best People Services come from balancing process excellence with genuine human connection.

Your bring:

• Solid experience in People Services, HR operations or People delivery in multinational organisations
• Proven track record leading specialist teams and transformations across multiple locations
• Deep knowledge of end to end People processes and employee lifecycle management
• Comfort working with HR platforms and AI/automation tools
• Ability to operate within Group governance while navigating local requirements with ease
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures and languages
• A good sense of humor
