Would you like to have an important part in the continued growth of our Portuguese operation, and at the same time be part of an international organization? We are now looking for a Financial Analyst to join our organization in Oeiras, in a 12 month internship, and be part of the Finance team in this exciting hub of Nordea Asset Management.

About this opportunity

Welcome to NAM Finance Team. We add value by ensuring high data integrity and key business insight in our deliveries towards stakeholders inside and outside Nordea Asset Management. As an Analyst you’ll play a valuable role in the fee process – the process through which NAM bills its clients for the services and products provided, as well as the use and development of the respective IT application - Advantage Fee. Only through high integrity in all processes, including calculating the correct invoices to clients, can we maintain the trust of our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be actively involved and part of the regular fees calculations together with other colleagues
• Setup and maintain fees calculations for institutional clients including fund companies
• Follow up on daily controls and answer ad-hoc questions from the value chain
• Obtain through training and daily work a deep knowledge of the application (Advantage Fee) & associated processes
• Contribute to defining process improvements, ensuring operational best practice while utilizing your insights, experiences and communication skills

You’ll join the local Finance team in Oeiras of 8 committed colleagues with different backgrounds and experiences, facilitating knowledge sharing and development in your daily work.

Your experience and background: 

• A relevant university degree where analytical reasoning and numbers are an integrated part
• Proficient Excel skills and teamwork
• Professional spoken and written English
• SQL knowledge
