RFP / Investment Writer in IWD Investment Products - Multi Asset

We are looking for RFP / Investment Writer to participate to the activities of the Institutional and Wholesale (IWD) Investment Products division which acts as the knowledge hub for all investment-related matters (markets, products, competition). About this opportunity

Welcome to the I&WD Product Management – Multi Asset team. We add value by being the knowledge centre for all investment-related matters (markets, products, competitive landscape). The Team is the main contact for our larget internal invetment boutique, Nordea’s Multi Assets Team. We are in charge of promoting our multi asset/risk premia investment solutions by conception of suitable marketing documents, product promotion, handling of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Due Dilligence Questionnaires (DDQs). You will be in contact with our Sales organization as well as Middle office and product specialists.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Deal with Institutional and Wholesale Request For Proposals (RFP) on multi-asset investment strategies with a special focus on the product side of the value chain as well as the product due diligence requests (DDQ).
• Establish and maintain good network with Sales, Investment Specialists and other key stakeholders, such as operational teams being involved in the RFP/Sales process.
• Participate in further developing the RFP framework and / or tools to enhance the competitive advantage in this field.
• Developing your knowledge on the fund industry, sustainability, fund management, risk and performance metrics, financial instruments, GIPS composites, regulation and others.

The role is based in Oeiras.

Your experience and background: 

• Previous experience in a similar position (RFP / Investment Writer) within asset management or financial services sector.
• Very good skills in written English. Other languages are considered an asset.
• Genuine interest for financial markets, investments and/or asset management.
• Your organizational abilities and meticulous attention complement your collaborative work ethic, ensuring that you consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality in your output.Understanding of the needs of clients and sales within an Institutional and Wholesale distribution context of an Asset Manager.
