About our team
Risk Management & Control provides independent risk oversight and constructive challenge across NAM, supporting a resilient and compliant business. You will aggregate, interpret and communicate the NAM risk picture both as part of the broader Nordea Group and from a NAM specific perspective—working across Operational Risk, ICT Risk and Fund Risk.
- Translate and apply Group risk taxonomy, frameworks and processes in a NAM setting, ensuring alignment with both Group expectations and local regulatory requirements across NAM legal entities.
- Aggregate and communicate the overall NAM risk picture across Operational Risk, ICT Risk and Fund Risk, presenting consistent and decision useful narratives from both a Group and NAM perspective.
- Provide NAM level interpretation of Group risk topics for senior governance (e.g. management committees and boards), clarifying implications, priorities, trade offs and entity specific considerations.
- Coordinate and quality assure risk reporting to ensure that Group requirements are implemented consistently while reflecting NAM’s business model, legal entity structure and regulatory context.
- Drive risk quality and governance by promoting consistency in methods, definitions, evidence and narratives, and by providing constructive and proportionate challenge across risk domains.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you enjoy working across multiple risk domains and creating an end-to-end view of the overall risk picture. You combine solid analytical skills with the ability to drive clarity and consistency, and you communicate credibly with senior decision-makers—supporting NAM-level interpretation for boards, Group stakeholders and regulators.
Your background and skills include:
