Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre for investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. About this opportunity
Welcome to the Client Relationship Services Department. We to deliver high-quality client service to our prospects and existing customers. As the Client Servicing/Sales Support Officer, you’ll play a valuable role in supporting our Asia Pacific (e.g. Japan) Sales Team which is based in Singapore.
What you’ll be doing:
- Generally, develop and maintain relationship with our sales colleagues located in Singapore and Luxembourg, and provide them with proactive service
- Take care of all requests and queries coming from institutional clients (e.g. international wealth management professionals, private banks, global custodians and execution platforms, retail banking organisations, external asset managers, etc.) in close co-operation with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Management, Legal department, Fund Data department, Marketing etc.)
- Look after all sales supportive tasks e.g. RFPs/DDQ coordination, new client onboarding, account opening, coordinate ongoing KYC/AML for existing clients and assist the Sales teams in various client events/roadshows
- Co-ordinate client distribution contracts, operation memorandums and account set ups with the Transfer Agency & Compliance Department
- Insure all relevant Fund administration and Transfer Agency related activities, and understand the different trailer fee set-ups
- Maintain client information in the CRM system, ensuring completeness, accuracy
- Occasionally participate at client events
You’ll join our multi-cultural team of 25 team members globally. Following a hub and spoke model, our Wholesale client servicing functions are mainly centralised in Luxembourg for our activities in Europe (e.g. Nordic Region) and Latin America. Furthermore, the team is supported in its day-to day-activities by our Client Servicing support team in Lisbon. This job position is located in Singapore and is a fixed-term contract (until end of March 2024).

- Have a good knowledge about the value chain of Investment Funds and segregated mandates and have already had a first experience in the Fund Industry
- Are a well-organized and can balance responsibilities with the ability to set priorities, and handle problems in a calm and efficient manner
- Have great communication skills and service minded
- Good project management skills with a keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness
- Be able to collaborate and work closely with Sales colleagues, and act as coordinator for responding to requests from clients related to client portfolios
- Are motivated, service-minded, stress resistant who enjoys working in an international, agile environment
Your experience and background:
- Have between 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar position in the Fund Distribution or Asset Management area. New graduates with a strong interest in investment management will also be considered.
- Fluent in in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Salesforce would be relevant
