About this opportunity

 

Welcome to Model Risk Management. We add value by keeping Nordea’s Model Risk stakeholders informed and updated on the state of their model risk. We design and maintain Nordea’s model governance framework, and support oversight through the Model Risk Committee. As the Model Risk Manager, you’ll play a valuable part in our journey towards best practice model risk management.   

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage key deliveries and coordinate model risk reporting activities across the Group
  • Design and coordinate model risk reporting to the banks senior management bodies in close cooperation with model validation teams
  • Design and coordinate internal control and quality assurance, and perform key oversight of information in the model risk system
  • Support and coordinate issue management across the Model Risk and Validation department
  • Drive and support Model Risk related programs deliveries and reporting

  

You’ll join a team of experienced model risk experts. The team is highly specialised and work in close collaboration with specialists across the Group. The role is based in Stockholm; Copenhagen; Helsinki; Warszawa.

Your experience and background:  

  • Academic degree (at least Master's level)
  • Strong communication written communication skills
  • Experience creating clear and concise data based reporting
  • Experience managing stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority
  • Preferably 3+ years' experience in the financial sector
  • Preferably a solid understanding of risk management in banking
