Corporate Advisory is a team of specialists within Business Banking focusing on structuring of corporate debt in relation to acquisitions, recapitalisations or refinancings. We are also responsible for the relationships with Private Equity funds in the Small- and Mid segment and the execution of leveraged buyout transactions. We strive to be the market leading specialist team in our segment and known for our expertise, our professionality and team culture. 

 

About this opportunity

 

Now we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest for financing, financial markets and a true team player to join our team as Analyst during the autumn. We operate in a high pace environment and expect you to from day one take an active role in the ongoing transactions.

 

In the role as analyst you will:

  • Support the deal team with relevant presentation-, pitching- and marketing material for both internal stakeholders and towards our customers.
  • Perform credit analysis, including understanding of various business models, markets and company risks, financial markets data and supported with financial modelling.
  • Based on the analysis provide support materials for strategic financial advisory regarding capital structure, funding sources, debt capacity and business risk assessment to top-tier Business Banking customers and prospects.
  • Participate in the deal teams with transaction execution together with experienced project managers, structuring tailor-made senior debt transactions related to acquisition finance, recapitalizations and growth/capex funding.

 

The role is based in our head office in Stockholm where you will work close together with the team members but we support Business Banking all over Sweden and the customers remains at the heart of everything we do. In order to succeed in the role we expect you to:

  • Be ambitious with a strong drive and a true team player willing to contribute to a culture based on trust, openness and high work ethics.
  • Have interest and knowledge about the financial markets and relevant debt instruments
  • Have strong analytical skills with a business oriented mindset.
  • Have 1-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Swedish and English
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Have an academic degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering or management
