Nordea's BCCM Process Oversight and Controls team is seeking a Chief / Senior Business Risk Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the robustness and resilience of our resiliency processes and controls, aligning with Nordea's commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Spearhead oversight and control initiatives within the BCCM process domain, ensuring alignment with Nordea's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Support the implementation of 'improved ways of working' and change management practices to enhance operational resilience and efficiency
  • Collaborate with various business areas within Nordea to identify and mitigate risks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within Business Continuity and Crisis Management
  • Engage in project management activities, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on process improvement projects

Your experience and background: 

  • Proven experience within a business area of banking sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of banking operations and culture
  • Familiarity with the EU Digital Operational Resiliency Act is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong background in implementing change management practices and 'improved ways of working'
  • Project management expertise, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering projects


The role is based in Helsinki; Gdynia; Malmö; Stockholm; Warszawa.
