We are looking for an experienced and skilled Client Executive to join our Large Corporates & Institutions team in Sweden, based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. This is an opportunity for you to join the leading bank in Sweden with an extensive coverage of Large Corporate clients. You will  be responsible for the relationship development and growth of a portfolio of Large Corporate clients.

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Large Corporates & Institutions team in Sweden where we are responsible for Nordea’s largest corporate clients. We work closely with our colleagues in numerous product areas with the ambition to jointly deliver value added services, solutions and products to our customers. As a Client Executive, you will be overall responsible for both defining and following up on the customer strategy, truly understand customers’ needs to enable new business opportunities and be responsible for managing the credit and compliance risks. In line with Nordea´s overall strategy you will focus on driving income growth, client satisfaction and be a great asset to the team. You will work with the existing client portfolio but also attracting new clients.

 

We add value to Nordea and our clients by offering a full range of services and products to our largest and most demanding Large Corporate clients. As the Client Executive, you will become an integral part of our team and will be given an active role with great responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible, together with the client team, for defining the relationship strategy and to successfully execute on it and originate new business
  • Responsible for the relationship development of a defined client portfolio. You are responsible for managing and growing the relationship keeping credit risk management in mind
  • To build frequent and value adding dialogue with your clients on senior level, promote Nordea’s products and services and how our expertise can support our client’s in the best possible way
  • Responsible for driving the strategy of customer satisfaction
  • Build and develop a network in Nordea to optimise coordination towards our clients
  • Originate new business opportunities including the acquisition of new clients
  • Responsible for the credit and compliance process, ensuring that credit risk for each customer is in accordance with guidelines
  • Proactively support our clients both with strategic advice and solutions

 

You’ll join a highly client dedicated, engaged and motivated team with strong team-oriented performance culture and a passion for servicing our clients. The role will be based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have 10+ years of customer facing sales experience in either a bank or in a senior corporate treasury role
  • Are motivated and committed to be part of a team with a winning mentality and to contribute to our joint success
  • Strive to the opportunity to work in customer teams and to develop value added dialogues with the customers, including at the very senior level
  • Have proven ability to build strong personal relationships. It is a plus if you already now have a good relationship with relevant stakeholders in the Large Corporate area
  • As a person are self-driven, analytical with problem solving skills combined with good negotiation skills and high business acumen where you take ownership of driving the business with your client portfolio
  • Have a good understanding of credit risk and preferably also of a bank’s product offering and services to Large Corporates as well as you thrive in a hectic environment where tight deadlines and sharp delivery is key to client satisfaction
  • Previous experience from strategic analysis and/or expertise within Markets, Investment Banking & Equities will be an advantage
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Swedish
