Would you like to utilise your analytical skills and still have a lot of investor interactions? We are now looking for a Credit Research Analyst for our Nordic LC&I Markets team.
About our team
Welcome to the Nordea Credit Research team. We add value by closely analysing inaugural and recurring issuers in the capital market; assessing risks and opportunities to credit investors both in fundamental credit research and risk/reward-based investment opportunities. We are now looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to play a valuable role in Nordea’s very successful credit franchise and will be part of the highly ranked Credit Research team.
What you’ll be doing:
- As the Analyst or Senior Analyst, you’ll cover a portfolio of corporate issuers, drawing on potential industry knowledge.
- Depending on your experience you are expected to grow into the role as an analyst covering a portfolio of corporate issuers.
- Depending on your experience we expect you to take responsibility for the Credit Research product, develop our offering and act as a local franchise ambassador.
- We expect you to be eager to learn, have an ability to work independently and do not shy away from neither workload nor challenges.
You’ll join a highly dedicated and ambitious team with specialists within credit research. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Fluency in Swedish or other Scandinavian language and English is a prerequisite. Some travel in the Nordics is to be expected.

For the senior position, you can either have solid knowledge of the financial dynamics for corporates, or you might already have a strong reach to Nordic and European credit investors. For the analyst position we expect a willingness and ability to learn the abovementioned.

We expect an Analyst to have:
- Strong academic record with a degree within Finance, Economics or similar.
- 0-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of financial modelling.
- Great analytical- and financial skills.
- Basic programming skills that support quantitative analysis, data handling and research automation or an willingness to learn.
We expect the Senior Analyst to have:
- Strong academic record with a degree within Finance, Economics or similar.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong industrial knowledge in the Shipping industry.
- Excellent knowledge about the capital market dynamics and pricing mechanisms.
- Excellent financial modelling skills.
- Great analytical- and financial skills.
Basic programming skills that support quantitative analysis, data handling and research automation or an willingness to learn.
