Would you like to play a key role in developing and maintaining Nordea’s overall work with Protective Security? We are now looking for a Protective Security Specialist to coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Protective Security Act in Nordea. In addition, you will also be the Country Security Manager in Sweden.

As part of the Corporate Security unit you will be part of a team of highly skilled security professionals being responsible for the operational implementation of all physical security matters across the Nordea group. The team is placed in 1st Line of Defence and is responsible for the Nordics and Estonia and Poland.
About this opportunity
As the Country Security Manager and Protective Security Specialist in Sweden, you will be coordinating and overseeing the Protective Security work in Nordea. You will be driving the work and support the organisation with substantial knowledge regarding Protective Security and will guide key stakeholders in their concrete work with both the Protective Security Analysis and the development and implementation of the Protective Security Plan. In addition, you will also support the security vetting process. We are looking for someone with extensive experience from Protective Security, that can continue to spearhead the way Nordea works with implementing the Protective Security Act. You will be reporting to Head of Corporate Security/Head of Protective Security and you will be operating from the HQ building in Stockholm.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be the focal point for physical security related tasks in Sweden and work closely with the outsourced partner, as well as key internal stakeholders
- Manage and develop Nordea’s Protective Security work and coordinate protective security activities across the organisation
- Identify and solve both strategic, operative and administrative challenges connected to protective security
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and policy level instructions related to protective security
- Support, advice and guide internal Nordea stakeholders on protective security related questions and issues

Your experience and background:
- Experience in Protective Security and implementation of the Swedish Protective Security Act
- Experience working with security in complex organisations
- Experience in the banking industry or other regulated industry
- Previous Military, Law Enforcement and/or related government protective security experience is highly appreciated
- Relevant academic background from the security domain or other similar area
- You have full professional proficiency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
