We are now looking for an ambitious and self-driven Credit Analyst to strengthen our Credit, Rating and ESG Analysis (CREA) Corporates 1 team ​in Group Credit Management in Sweden. This is an opportunity for you to work with Nordea's largest corporate customers and participate in the largest corporate financing transactions. For a candidate with experience within credit analysis, audit, loan origination or similar, a position as Senior Credit Analyst might be a possibility.

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to CREA in Group Credit Management! We add value by being Nordea's competence centre for credit risk, rating and ESG-analysis. CREA’s purpose is to, among other things, perform independent and high quality credit analysis, share industry expertise with our stakeholders and thereby add value in the credit process.

 

As the Credit Analyst, you will play a valuable role in conducting credit analysis for a portfolio comprised of Nordea’s largest corporate customers. You will be an important part of customer teams responsible for, among other tasks, new financing transactions and you will advise business areas on credit risk related issues in order to enable Nordea to do business in a prudent way.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct risk adjusted credit analysis for a portfolio of corporate customers in Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) Sweden and Leveraged Finance and provide up to date, relevant conclusions to facilitate the credit decision process
  • Monitor a portfolio of customers in order to identify early warning signals and ensure no surprises
  • Handle credit proposals related to new financing requests, including corporate acquisitions
  • Actively share industry knowledge and your own objective view on credit risk with our stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Client Executives and Relationship Managers in LC&I, deal managers at Leveraged Finance as well as Credit Managers in Group Credit Management

Your experience and background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field
  • Professional skills in interpreting and analysing financial information
  • Excellent communication skills in English, fluent Swedish is a merit
  • Previous experience in credit analysis or similar is an advantage but not an requirement
