About this opportunity
 

Welcome to the DPRM team. We add value by driving optimisation of our operational efficiencies, letting the Business Areas focus on what they do best, to serve our customers and drive income growth initiatives. You will join the newly formed Data Privacy unit in GBS, established to manage risk reduction initiatives in Nordea.

 

As an Expert in the DPRM unit you’ll play a valuable role in stepping into a central role, utilising your experience and expertise in non-financial risk management to inspire change.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving the design, development and assessment of Nordea data privacy needs with business areas to achieve consistent implementation, monitoring and reporting of risks
  • Acting as Privacy expert, interacting with leaders and different stakeholders
  • Running initiatives and being part of Data Privacy Risk Reduction Program to successfully deliver on targets and milestones according to the agreed scope
  • Having good oversight on Privacy processes, policies and industry trends
  • Communicating and influencing at all levels of the organisation and explain complex concepts in clear and understandable ways to build understanding


The role is based in Stockholm; Helsinki.

Your experience and background: 

  • Written and spoken English on a professional level is required
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree 
  • Multi-year experience in GDPR and with Data Privacy – Advantage for prior experience on developing Data Privacy governance, drafting protocols and guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management, Key Control frameworks, Individual Rights, RoPA, R&D, as well as internal processes such as Privacy Impact Assessment, TIA, Data Privacy & Service Level Agreements and Intragroup Agreements
