We are currently looking for a motivated and dynamic person to join our Capital Management Software Development team at Nordea. We are now looking for an Expert Python Engineer to join our journey to develop and implement our next generation capital solutions. Our team’s role is to add value by providing the required engineering excellence and expertise in different technologies to enable delivering the Capital Management agenda through the Capital and Risk Train (CART).

The team is located in Sweden and Poland, and this position is located in Stockholm, Sweden and Gdansk / Gdynia / Warszawa, Poland.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support applications in an agile development way by coordinating, planning and mainly leading the required engineering in the Capital and Risk Train (an Agile Release Train)
- Participate in major improvements and full-stack development tasks as lead developer to support own unit to add value, and deliver according to targets
- Provide technical vision and leadership and define best practice within own area of expertise to enhance technical capabilities and solutions

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ documented experience in full-stack Python development (full-stack serving web backend, e.g. Flask, Fastapi or similar)
- Professional experience in React (Angular experience is considered relevant experience) and Typescript
- Professional experience and/or knowledge of Agile, Scrum or SAFe including BizDevOps
- Academic degree in computer sciences, mathematics or engineering
- Proficiency in English is a must have skill
- Have a good understanding of Regulatory Reporting for European Banks
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have professional experience in Docker, Snowflake and CICD experience with git/bitbucket, AI coding assistance or Cloud/AWS platforms
