Now we are looking for an Expert Quality Assurance Lead with strong background in quality assurance and test management. We are building a strong quality assurance culture within our unit Group Function Technology. What you’ll be doing:

 

As the Expert Quality Assurance Lead, you will work with quality assurance in agile release trains, establishing and governing the test processes, test enablers and test automaton solutions, in compliance with Nordea Quality Assurance standards. You are working strategically with continuous test improvements, test resource management, stakeholder management and quality assurance uplift in the daily deliveries.


You will be responsible for providing test and technical leadership support, advocating Nordea quality standards and establishing quality as the whole team approach by knowledge sharing. You will assure the focus on high quality of deliveries throughout the agile teams, secure great collaboration with stakeholders and effective QA communication activities within the initiative.

 

Some more specific tasks that you will do are: 

  • Plan and run QA and test management for both functional and non-functional testing,  in concurrence with multiple and versatile scrum teams in a SAFe agile release train setup.
  • Identify impediments, risks and challenges corresponding to QA and test management and derive solutions to enable efficient QA and test progress.
  • Actively spearhead test automation design, development, maintenance and operations.
  • Proactively communicate and report to key IT and Business stakeholders regards QA risk status, testing progress, and improvement activities. 
  • Continuously explore opportunities for test automation improvements and ensure establishment of test automation solutions.
  • Proactively advocate QA and test. Ensure continuous learning of team members and stakeholders in the agile release trains.
  • Resource management of QA and test skills.

We believe that you have many years of experience in quality assurance and test management, in various kind and size of software development projects. You have an extensive experience in both functional and non-functional testing, and test automation establishment. You are passionate about the quality assurance and software testing area, have strong communication and coaching skills, and show courage and ownership for the work to be done. You are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders both on strategical and hands-on level. You are curious about learning new techniques and you are efficient in using tools for manage quality assurance and testing activities.

Your experience and background:

  • Have worked with complex systems consisting of components based on various technologies and diverse types of interfaces.
  • Have experience managing test automation, regression, E2E testing, as well as functional and non-functional testing, test levels, test environments, and test data.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in QA Lead (or similar) role.
  • Are experienced in working with agile methodologies.
  • Have good English language skills to freely communicate with stakeholders (also native speakers).
